You can only delay a release date if a release date has been determined . . . . which it hasn't.

 

SimWare doesn't have any special information - any release date they provide should be taken as complete fiction unless and until a release date is announced here by ED.

 

 

That Press Release came out in October - while I don't know if further development of the A-10C sim is likely to take effort away from Black Shark, I haven't noticed much slowdown.

 

Sounds like they want to model a couple more systems on the A-10C, whereas the vast majority of the systems on the Ka50 are already complete. I wouldn't worry too much.

This is the sole game/sim I'm waiting for right now. This is what we NEED...a serious simulator to investigate the nature of modern warfare with. I can't wait. I hope my 2 gig RAM, AMD 3800 X2 dual core, Nvidia 7800GT rig can run it as well as it ran LOMAC.

I seem to recall tales of "Spring '07" and "Sometime '07" featured prominently on lockon.ru back in the pre-DCS days. But yes, "when it's finished" has been with DCS since the start, not BS, although they kept admirably vague about that as well.

Love how the Testers quote back the "when it's ready" furfy! I'm sure DCS would have internal dates and the when it's ready is for the poor public consumption. Try telling that to you boss at work :)

I tell that to my boss everyday ;). But I work in the same room as he does so it can be seen I don't waste the time. In this case some ppl can think that ED members sit on some tropical beach and drink margaritta from glasses with little ambrellas, from time to time checking forum from their laptops writing "Oh, we've got some issues with mission editor to be solved now so stay tuned".
