mcl896b Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Morning all. I've been away with work for a month and come back and now TrackHat OpenTrack is doing some strange stuff. When I open Opentrack up and start video I get many green crosses dancing all over the screen (image attached). I've tried resetting both the camera and the programme, but to no avail. It was working perfectly 4 weeks ago... Thanks much in advance for any assistance!
Bobik2002 Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Make sure your camera is set up corrtly, check threshold and check if not sun lighting to you. Ryzen 9 5900x | 32GB DDR4 | RTX 3090 | 32GB RAM
jasonbirder Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Looks like sun light/reflections to me...I get that in the morning when the Sun comes in the study window...try closing some curtains or moving anything shiny behind you...otherwise you can alter the threshold down until you only have 3 green/1 red cross showing (might not be possible if its really bright)
MAXsenna Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Was away for 3 months, and had the exact problem post return. For me the solution was to turn down "gain", I belive, in PS-eye settings. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk
RustBelt Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Most of those spots are under 2px. Increase your threshold to like 4 or 5px and it should ignore all those little bits.
mcl896b Posted March 23, 2020 Author Posted March 23, 2020 Thanks guys, adjusted the gain and the issue is now resolved!
