LazyBoot Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 What's the difference between the different radar display filtering modes? I struggle to see any difference between "TGTS" and "NONE".
ED Team Wags Posted March 20, 2020 ED Team Posted March 20, 2020 Hi Boot, Options ALL, FTR+, and TGTS are on a rotary with the selection stepped by depressing the COMM switch inboard for less than 0.5 second. With the current display option ALL, FTR+, or TGTS, depressing the COMM switch outboard for less than 0.5 second results in the display option NONE. With the current display option NONE, depressing the COMM switch either inboard or outboard for less than 0.5 second returns the display option to its last-left option. The display option initializes to ALL at power up. ALL - all symbols FTR+ - all beside surveillance tracks TGTS - only Fighter tracks displayed (no PPLI and surveillance tracks) NONE - none This will all be updated to the Viper Guide. LazyBoot Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Is there any way (other than turning MIDS off) to completely hide the datalink info, to be able to see TWS status on things?
ED Team Wags Posted March 20, 2020 ED Team Posted March 20, 2020 Yes, please select NONE. Thanks Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
LazyBoot Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Yes, please select NONE. Thanks When I tried that the tracks still had the datalink symbols on them, not the white TWS ones.
Santi871 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Did you cycle the filter to NONE after those trackfiles were formed? Or did those trackfiles form with the filter already in NONE?
LazyBoot Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 The red was from before setting NONE, the green was detected after (though did have datalink info on it from before)
