The_GOZR Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I'm trying to make my CH pedals works with the aircraft brakes.. does anyone got lucky with it? Thx
PoleCat Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 There is no differential braking support in lomac. Wheel brakes have to be programmed digitally as there is no wheel brakes analog axis available in the sim. No seperate left/right wheel brakes. Just a single keystroke for both wheel brakes. So if you can digitally program the toe brakes to produce the wheellbrake keystroke (w) held down for as long as you press the toe brake then you can at least do that. Weta43 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Just skimming the thread & it occured to me - depending on what gear you use & what programming is available for it, couldn't you do zones - as for an X-52 - & a macro with the first zone depressing the 'W' briefly then a moment later releasing it, then re-applying it etc, & for each zone make the portion of time taken by the brake command larger, till at full deflection the controller is just sending 'W' Cheers.
The_GOZR Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 Arg!! Thanks to lets me know... btw a good question to ask for the BS serie ;) I wish for a better solution..
Weta43 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I think that the reason they didn't bother with differential toe brakes in the code was that most Russian planes don't have them in reality (though the Su-27 does) Cheers.

I programed my Saitek pedals to just produce W when the right foot pedal is depressed. S77th-konkussion Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I'm trying to make my CH pedals works with the aircraft brakes.. does anyone got lucky with it? Thx Works fine. www.freewebs.com/konkussion [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Wild.Bill.Kelso Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I think Ruggbutt has a profile for the CH Pedals that uses gradual braking the more you press.
S77th-konkussion Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Exactly. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 meh... take off the "downloads" part- and just go to the page manually. My site is blocked here at work- I can't check to see what my typo is... or just click my sig. (It's a blank space here, lol) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
The_GOZR Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 Thx i see. Prob i'm not using any map on CH.. just direct. :(
S77th-konkussion Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 You be missing out then, I'm afraid. Using CH hardware without CH manger is like drinking non-alcoholic beer. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
The_GOZR Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 Well here my take i did use this CH manager once and try to go at best with it in IL2 actually and what i saw is a service was on .. one more .. and it was not as precise as direct that was a major problem, I use the calibration actually which is very good. Great script there :) I try to make only the Toebrake since i'm using very different keys..
centermass Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 You need to set it as a 1 key press not 2 and have the second "action" to be "NULL". I have CH pedals and use the toe brake by using the recording key strokes feature. I'll post a screen shot later.
