msmith301 Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Was wondering when I switch out my Thrustmaster Cougar joystick to my Virpil Warbird base do I have do download separate software for it. I know I will be using my older TM cougar throttle and elite rudder pedals thru the older cougar control base for the meantime but I was wondering what I needed to do to set up the joystick to work in conjunction with the other controllers.
Lange_666 Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 It should work out of the box but you might need to calibrate and test: Software: VPC Software Suite From their website: Do I need to use the VPC Software Suite? The VPC Configuration Software is used for a number of basic setup tasks. First it is used create the correct device profile - when you first use your VPC device it is necessary to create a profile that relates to grip that you will be using. The profile will also need to be changed when you change grips. The VPC Configuration Software will also be required to perform the initial calibration.
