F-14 Fuel Tanks ready

I don't know has my F-22A Project ever finished, maybe later when i got more expirence in animating and 3D modelling. But i don't give up! I thought i should try to model a weapon, or a small thing first, to get expirence. So i've started to make an F-14 Fuel Tank, because the Tomcat was used the F-16's fuel tanks, and it's my favourite plane too. Now the F-16 uses the Tomcat's fuel tanks :)

There is another solution: We have 2 types of fuel tanks for the Hornet...We can use the old one (with your new F14 Fuel Tank) for the Tomcat.

 

 

...but it seems : your new model is a bit small...check these:

Ok, I fixed the size problem, and it now replaces the old F-18 FT.

I don't think it needs a modman pack now.You just need to LOPE your F-14 with the first 330 Gallon fuel tank in the list.

I try to bring the F-14 into a better condition by step by step, So:

I see somebody is taking use of my Santa bird cause I can tell by the bug under the second outter pylon. ;) and nice formation.

 

The TARPS looks cool and it is in the wrong place. :P The Tanks look good but their not rounded out on the back, its just a flat stop on the end.

Now there R too small spaces between Ventral Fins and Fuel Tanks:

They look good...but still seem a little too fat to me. I'll givem a try.

They look nice on the F-14A. They could still use a little extention in the back because there isnt as much cutoff on the real tanks like you got on these. I really like the TARP's though and we could really use the bigger/better LANTIRN. ;)

Yes, i'm using 3ds max 7. I think the shape of the tanks are now finished,

So i start to work on the LANTIRN Pods now.
