Something is clearly blocking/braking. I first thought of the parking brake, but the lever is horizontal. You could also check your emergency break if fully pressed in. Press you brakes for a short time and release them afterwards. I think DCS starts with brakes on and this doesn't change until you pressed the brakes once.

Btw: Are the sparks on the front gear right when launching normal?

ASI says that's 180 knots off the bow, but it looks around 100..very strange.

Listen to the warning tone before they hit the water too, it sounds too low pitched, like the video's been slowed down.

TBP_pilot: just to make sure, you're not touching the stick before you're airborne are you? A track file or another video with the controls indicator may help.

Sparks or no sparks it was not a show stopper for launching (this issue has been fixed few builds ago)

His a/s is 180 off the bow but the pitch doesn't come up.

Instead of slowing the vid down OP should include the track or at least show his controls input.

Indeed. If it is played back slowly, that would cause him to move slowly for the eye despite 180 knots.

And if you look at the FCS page, about halfway down the catapult the elevator goes from 17 up to 21 up. Can someone confirm the FCS doing this or is it user input?

I begin to ask myself if this is a troll?
