Kosmosima ships with what appears to be a replacement switch, so one can change the A1 ministick to a simple 8 way hat. Is the same switch compatible with the MCG Pro Gate Control position? I would like to replace the mini stick in that position with the hat switch.

I would love a 4 way hat instead of that analog axis everyday

You can program the analog axis to act as either a 4-way or 8-way hat. I have mine programmed to be in parallel: that is you can see both the analog axes and the virtual hat switches at the same time. It is working very well for me. I am sorry that I was too lazy to bother doing so earlier.

I have too...for me both analog povs act as dx buttons.

But i mean that physically on the stick analog hats have a bad feeling for me. Don't understand why they used it (and 2 of them).

I hope their F18 adapter will be available soon so i will be able to use the TM-F18 grip.

streakeagle - can you share the details/screenshot on how you did that.

Thanks!

Its quite easy....in VKB-DevCFG software

First be sure that two povs are selected in global --> common options.

Then go to profile ---> povs

and under #2 in POV type select low res 4w ad in Output select buttons L

Another textbox will show up, there select the first DX button you want to assign to the POV (the other 3 will follow this number) then on the right select the two axis you want to use (should be axis 6 and 5) and then copy the line above (2d, second axis reverse)...Then if for active you select always active you won't need anything more (but the axis still will be active while pressing the DX buttons) otherwise you can select on/off to act as the first pov (tempo press change behavior) but then you have to bind another one for this action.

I know that i was not too much clear but i cannot do screenshots now.

Anyway here you can see this post on VKB forum with some screenshots:

I like the analog hats a lot and also make use of the dual function (axis and buttons visible at the same time)
