Is it possible to save the DEFAULT keyboard input in SAVED GAMES?

Hi,

 

The SAVED GAMES folder contain a 'Keyboard.diff.lua' file. It's the modification you've done to the keyboard bindings. Is there a way to edit the DEFAULT.LUA it self and save it in the SAVED GAMES so that every update won't overrun them?

No, and that's for a very good reason. Sometimes updates add new key commands and the old default.lua you changed would get replaced by a new one, so when you use the old one if your lucky you just miss the new commands, worst case it breaks stuff.

The .diff.lua just adds the changes to the default.lua and will still work most of the time.

If you want a complete replacement, you can delete whole categories and put your own combos. It should be stored in the .diff.lua as "delete original binding" and "new binding".

So ultimately it will whipe the existing keybinds and put yours instead.
