Lange_666 Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Tittle says it all in fact. Is it possible to stop a script without using the stop button in the script editor? Looking for a one click (or maybe double click if that is needed) solution. :helpsmilie: Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. SGT Coyle Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 In TARGET SE. Check options for setting a shortcut. General tab>>first item Night Ops in the Harrier IYAOYAS
Lange_666 Posted April 21, 2020 Author Posted April 21, 2020 That only works with the SE open (it says it doesn't work in game but only in Windows but even that doesn't work, the SE needs to be open!) Even more, if you close the SE with a script running and re-open and then apply the key stop combination, it will show the script as stopped (the run button turns green again) but the script still runs. The only way to actually stop it then is to press the run button again twice. I thought more in the direction of a desktop icon to start/stop the script. SGT Coyle Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Maybe write a bat file? Night Ops in the Harrier IYAOYAS
Lange_666 Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 (edited) Yeah, that crossed my mind but the scripts need to be compiled by the SE everytime you want to use it... speed-of-heat Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) this is what i run as a shortcut: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\x64\TARGETGUI.exe" -r "<path to script>\<scriptfilename>.tmc" which runs the script without the editor then a separate file to kill the targetgui taskkill /IM TARGETGUI.exe not my idea https://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/printthread/Board/244/main/422889/type/thread Edited April 23, 2020 by speed-of-heat SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware AMD 9800X3D, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
