LTRMcrew Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Speaking of which check out this friggin hoser eh. Not the Charlie hornet but at least an example of an RL hornet driver talking about what he uses in the mpcd. Skip to around 1:40. Sent from my SM-A530W using Tapatalk Good ol' Canadians! Darn spot light for those bloody Russian bears being annoying along the arctic. Interesting he uses it for the tpod, I find mpcd with tpod is easier to use... maybe i'll try the green screens again...
JayBird Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 I'll run either the EW or FPAS page on the MPCD. I have a difficult time making out the finer details of the HSI/SA page when its down low, I usually run these two pages on the left display and my right display is what I'll switch most frequently. naizarak Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 radar on the right, EW on the left, SA on the bottom. the info feed from all three combined is tremendous
Nekhebu Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 I never use it. It feels overly bright and I can't read any text on it. In addition to that it's hard to see it behind the stick.

You can lower the brightness with the rotary at the top of MPCD, which help for contrast if you keep moving map. Overwise you can go into HSI mode by hiding the map, with "MODE" on OSB 3 from memory (middle left) :smilewink: Like over people = HSI/ SA depending on situation. Mirage fanatic ! Ourorborus Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 As a VR user I have it on SA most of the time. It's pretty unreadable with the map on, but I find I turn it off or dim the map right down with the knob.
