FUgaijin Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 The problem is they are rushing products out to keep the cash flow up. EA acft are getting just enough attention to keep people in them while they work on the next project. The hornet is a sloppy hot mess and the viper is the neglected step child, meanwhile here comes the super carrier which is missing how many promised features now? Finish one project then move on, at this point i am all for a monthly subscription fee if it means they actually finish something that they start. As for the current state of the Viper, its still an excellent platform all around but needs some of these problems to be addressed such as the IFF/DL, Tire grip etc. fix those and throw in some mavericks and a Harm and hell people would probably shut up for another year. My Setup: HOTAS Warthog, Saitek Combat Pro Rudders, Trackir 5, i Control w/ipad, powered by Alienware Aurora ALX i7 3930k oc 4.2, dual 980s, 16gb Ram.

They throw out a roadmap and then throw it away. I have been an ED fan. The amount of time, money, and energy I have invested into this company is crazy. I do enjoy the products, but the frustration that comes from telling us one thing and then taking a giant U-turn is enough to break your head open on a brick wall. Its not worth much but they are starting to slowly loose guys like me and the ones I fly with who are huge supporters to the group with the lack luster updates. It is painfully looking like they threw the Viper together to sell it, get it pushed out with all kinds of promises, only to then dump it for another money making project. ED... you want to fix this dumpster fire that is going on with the Viper? Show us an updated roadmap with REGULAR briefings on what is in the works, what is being fixed, the status of those repairs AND the stats of the new features that are few updates away. Once you do that... STICK TOO IT!! I get cash flow and bringing in revenue. I would gladly pay for a a subscription fee to see these products get completed in a timely manner!. I still say that you are undercharging for what you can potentially produce. Looking at the A-10 is prime example of the past possibilities and the Tomcat is the present and the future (yes I know they are different companies). The entire man behind the curtain gig is getting old, especially when those of us who live in OB and report what we find is what is helping you get things completed...
