Hello.

I always like to programming my HOTAS

as i am playing more games than DCS.

A classic simple full PDF will be usefull.

Thank you.

These are study simulations. So can I suggest you look at Chuck's Guide for the Av8b and the manual for the aircraft.

There is an Export to HTML button in the Controls setup menu. Open to the HTML with Webbrowser or print to file/PDF with your browser. Though I would recommend to read the manual for the controls setup under C:/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World -version-/Docs/.

The controls setup is very sophisticated and powerful, especially when managing multiple USB controllers.

Trubshaw

thank you for your help.

I will check Chuck's Guide.

thank you for your reply.

I have already export the HTML, but i was surprised as many functions

they don't reffering to any shortcut keys! There are just left..... BLANK.

In addition i would like to give my point of view as why i need the full keys:

Once DCS is not the only game that i am playing, i am using

the same buttons for the same functions for all of them.

(F.E. Toggle GEARS up/down, this button, etc)

By using the 3 modes and the 6 shift modes of Saitek X52 Pro,

i can have all of the games functions redirected to my preferable

SAME buttons/sliders/rotarys etc. This is practical for me and this

is the reason why am i asking to find the full map shortcuts.

PS:

DCS is based on keyboard assignement shortcuts for any clickable button/slider etc.

Even from the programmers view, if you click with the mouse a button, it translated

to a hardware register to indicate a specific routine function. The shortcuts are in

there already. The Developers just have to give them in public.

Is it possible that we're talking about this in reverse?

OP, are you looking for a list of the default keyboard or controller inputs in DCS, in order to bind or map your controller to that default?

If so, consider that the reverse of that is the intended function; where you identify the function (i.e. GEAR UP) in DCS and bind the control input (switch, button press, etc) you want, by opening it in the Settings -> Controls -> (each module) and then pressing the HOTAS button or switch you want to accomplish that function.

Bind the controller to DCS, not bind DCS to the controller. All functions are (re)programmable.

After doing this, the HTML export would then show the buttons you've bound.

Apologies if you already know this and I'm misunderstanding you.

Wakeshift

thank you for your reply.

Yes i've got your point my friend (reverse setup).

I can use BMS shortcuts passing them to DCS

shortcuts and then setup my profile based on them.

So i am customizing the missing DCS shortcuts.

But it will be a looong process for me and i will face

to override new with already set keys/combinations.

But seems that this is the only choice that i've got and

also for others that will try to do the same or similar.

This is why I AM WONDERING:

Is this a forum that reflects feedback for Devs products or we are just talking ?

Why don't the official Developers answering to such questions in here ?

Where shall i refer to find propper CUSTOMER SUPPORT for what i bought ?

or there is no such official thing around after you just buy their products ?

Thank you

PS:

Seems that you bought a brand new

TV and you have to guess how to

operate it as the manufacturer save

some money for paper & ink instead

to print 3-4 pages manual for you.

Sure, Baterries NOT included! :mad::cry:

You can assign ANY keyboard key, ANY button on a USB Controller to most actions in DCS. You can even assign ANY button as a modifier ( similar to saitek shift states ).

I highly(!) recommend to familiarize yourself with the "DCS World Input Controller Walkthrough.pdf" and the Control Settings section of the "DCS User Manual.pdf" under C:/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World -version-.

It will save you a lot of time and nerves to understand what's possible and what you can do either by assigning buttons and modifiers directly, or by assigning (new) keybinds.

thank you for the additional help. I have already read

"DCS World Input Controller Walkthrough.pdf" but as i

have explain (DCS is not the only game).

If i was playing just DCS, yes i agree, it would be fine.

Thank you again my friend. Cheers.

PS-1:

Wakeshift gave me an option that is closer to my goal

but it will take me time to finish it but it worth to do it.

Based on BMS shortcut map i will set all DCS shortcuts

from the scratch. Then i will setup the X52 profile based

on the new shortcuts.

PS-2:

Seems that third-party officiall developers doesn't pay

any attention to their customer's feedback.

OK, but this is a way to loose future & present customers.
