PSYKOnz Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 hi there guys, I was wondering if someone out there had the cheat sheet version of the 2 checklists (?) that are on the main panel. just a quick what does each one mean (some are obvious) and what is the setting should be as part of the check. I have not read the NATOPS FLIGHT MANUAL and I don't really intend to, but I would love it if someone out there who has, or a real-world pilot could educate my simple brain as to the procedure (?) and settings here is the takeoff one here is the land one cheers Tomcat, Tomcat über allen
kengou Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 I’m guessing but these seem self explanatory to me. Brakes: checked during run-up of engine and during taxi. Parking brake not engaged. Fuel: check fuel state and weight with catapult weight (crewman will hold up a weight board to verify). Canopy: down and locked. Seat: armed and adjusted. Stab aug: stability augmentation on for pitch, roll, yaw. Trim: takeoff trim set. Wings: full forward. Flaps: set as required. Controls: checked for free movement and surface movement. Harness: straps tight (not dcs applicable). Arm: master arm off. Fuel: verify fuel state and landing weight. Hook: as required (down for carrier). Anti-skid: as required (off for carrier, on for field). Wings: full forward. Wheels: gear down. Flaps: down. Autopilot: as required. Auto throttle: as desired. DLC: extended. friggindead Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 (edited) If interested, here's a link to pilot checklists- both the expanded and simplified. I took them from the NATOPS manual- Interior Inspection Prestart Engine Start Poststart Final Checker Ashore and CV Taxi Takeoff Challenge/Reply Ascent In-Flight Refueling Preland and Descent Landing Postlanding Enjoy, fellow flier ;) https://drive.google.com/open?id=1g9Bz1DRB77fltQc1JDYt1sizlv_yKzZy Edited April 25, 2020 by friggindead
