MIG 29 Fuel Tank

Hi all, I installed the Mig29 Fuel tank using MODMAN (by Knells & Wallmis) and I have tried all of the in game Shadow affects and still it appears black. When "all shadow" is chosen the tank disappears.

 

Am I missing a line of code in the graphics config? Is there another Mig29 fuel tank I can use to replace the default?

I think the texture file is not of the correct size... I'm not sure what pixel size it should be but as far as I remember mod has it as 512x512 but it should be 512x1024 maybe? All you'd have to do is resize it but can't remember right now what size it should be. I can check later when I get home.

you must unzip that mod and resize the bitmap file into 1024x1024 instead of default size then it works well in game :D

 

/ use Irfan View 4.0 for doing it easily

Right on Majesco... file PTB1500-skin.bmp should be 1024x1024 and in TempTextures folder. All you gotta do is open this image with photoshop or some other image editing software and resize the image and save, that's it.

Thank you Gents. I would try this however following my post last night I awoke this morning to find my basement flooded, (due to 3 days of 10C weather and rain and 1 metre of melting snow. My computer rested on the floor under my desk and received water damage.

 

The good news is my insurance may cover the cost of a new one!

Thanks GOZR, looks like I can go shopping. My insurance is covering. I hope I can get set up sooner than later. I sure miss flying the imaginary skies and the community! My wife sees me more than she is used too. I am not sure if she thinks that a good thing or not.:music_whistling:
