I'm having some problems similar to what I already found in this forum

I've set my control profiles to sim mode, also in gameplay options "game flight mode" is off. In training every controller works perfectly. but when I load any other flight except training, throttle jerks the "in game" flight stick all over the place.

I've tried the same with the A-10C and it works fine.

So I assume this must be F/A-18C problem.

I've read some users having similar issues, but none like mine, I guess

before you ask, there are no axis conflicts. i've checked them several times.

And, don't know if it is related but in cold start, I can't change throttle levers from OFF to IDLE (RAlt/RShift + Home), and they're mapped on the keyboard by default, I didn't change anything.

Any help?

Thank you.

Go to axis assignments, and confirm that the throttle is not mapped to roll, pitch or rudder axis

Like i wrote on my post: "there are no axis conflicts" meaning, all of my axis are correctly assigned, and they work perfectly in training mode.

I use that utility too, and i've tried to repair and clean my DCS installation. I also tried to swap controller usb ports. it didn't work.

The weirdest thing is it only happens with the F-18, every other aircraft module installed doesn't have any controller issues.

Is this an open beta problem? I forget to mention that, I use DCS open beta.

Weird . If it wasn't just the hornet , i'd recommend a powered usb hub , or entertain ugly thoughts regarding the x56 .

Following up on the hornet-only indication , i would rename and move the associated folder in saved games/user/dcs/config/input/fa-18 , run a repair and rebind .

Have you tried uninstalling the f18 from dcs module manager and then reinstalling it?

Problem solved!

Thank you all for the suggestions.

I've sent a support ticket and I got the answer, it was the Game Avionics Mode active, while I had a F/A-18C Sim profile selected for the controls.

I thought "Game Avionics Mode" would only give representation of units outside de cockpit, not changing any of the aircraft systems behavior, that's why I had them activated.
