WS13 or RD-93MA?

Seems like our vintage (>2012(But perhaps not nationality? I dunno)) would likely be running the substantially more powerful WS13. Which one do we actually have?

No production JF-17 has been fitted with the WS-13 yet, they're all using the RD-93 including what is modeled here.

Reading a bit, it looks like they have been flying demonstrators with them for some time, but mainline production may well start this year.

I have not heard of single demonstrator or prototype with Ws-13 or RD-93MA. I’m sure it exists, but I’ve never heard of it

I read someone say they're keeping rd93 with block 3 for now.

They are, but we don’t know if that means MA or not

Probably just going to run them out of life before upgrading to newer engines. Thats what I would do anyways. saves money.

Probably not since block 3 are not being fitted with other engines afaik so when current ones die there will still be rd93s left

This is an old thread but I did want to mention, that a RD-93 overhaul facility was constructed recently in PAC Kamra, so there’s very little chance of any WS-13 any time soon for Pakistan atleast.
