mrmach Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Hi. I have this module since the begining of it. So far have't had any problem... but may be two or three weeks ago everytime I turn on my computer and I load DCSW, can´t chose C-101 module because is not at the module bar downthere. Try go to module manager but says it's installed. So I open any mission where the C-101 can be flown and It starts in external view. a message pops up and say C-101XX is required!!!. The only way I have to fly it again is reinstalling the whole module. do anyone had that issue too? :( " MrMACH...Flies a cargo plane full of rubber dogshit out of Hong kong..." :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Rudel_chw Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Most likely, your antivirus has erroneously quarantined part of the module, check your antivirus logs. mrmach Posted May 6, 2020 Author Posted May 6, 2020 It's even not quarantined it, simply it delete this file abase.dll it's considered as a threat... " MrMACH...Flies a cargo plane full of rubber dogshit out of Hong kong..." :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Rudel_chw Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 It's even not quarantined it, simply it delete this file abase.dll it's considered as a threat... Fitst, add the dcs folder to the AV exclusions. Then, run a dcs_updater repair to recover the lost file. Vibora Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 I have reported this to ED and they should take care of it. Thanks for your report. I recommend you proceed as Rudel_chw told you. Set the DCS folder to your AV exclusions and make a repair. Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mrmach Posted May 9, 2020 Author Posted May 9, 2020 It seems ESET doesn't recognize abase.dll as a threat anymore and now the module works fine... " MrMACH...Flies a cargo plane full of rubber dogshit out of Hong kong..." :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
