D/L and IFF inconsistent HAFU

When trying to IFF targets on the attack radar, I can't seem to get the targets to change their HAFU from unknown until it's too late. Even when inside 25nm, I can't seem to get an IFF off the NCTR or tws. Also, my datalink seems wrong, as I can't see some contributing friendlies on my S/A page. And yes, I've turned my IFF and D/L on lol.

Got a track we can look at? Seems to work fine on my end. Also don't forget NCTR only works in STT.

A lot depends on the look angle into the engine inlets or exhaust
