Coxy_99 Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) East kent light railway was an important integral part for the collieries in the area which linked many of the towns some of the line is in heritage today at Shepherdswell but most of the line is dug up but can be seen from above where it would of ran. I know there was a military port at pegwell bay built in WW!, Im wondering if the line running to Richborough would have also gone to the port which was used to transport troops to france, Remains of the port still stand but mostly trashed. Channel sea colour is more like Normandy, The channel map sea water is to clean tropical looking, The cliffs also are not perfect white but will and would have a water mark to where the tide comes in and out, Thus Maybe not needed you could add goodwin sands. joey45 Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 Will have to see If my old pub is there in Hastings. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
