If it is like the F-16, it is a list of everything that is wrong with the aircraft. So you should only see things there in DCS if you activate errors or if you suffer damage.

PFL are things the pilot should worry about. Maintenance Fault list (MFL) are things he should note to inform maintenance but do not affect the flight.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

Thanks to both for answering!

I tested the PFL and is it really useful indeed, just wanted to ask if the JF-17 has the MFL, I cannot find it.

i have a question

why doesnt the PFL page show the failures once you open it? i have to walk through all the left buttons for items to appear.

very clumsy design. is this intended or is something not implemented?

I guess it is intended to be like that, if you want to see if your engine has fails, click on ENG, and if you want to see if something is on fire, click on FIRE

would be great if there was some indication which category contains items.

or if it showed them all combined upon page opening by default, until i click a category.

as it is now, you have to press them all one by one just to check nothing appeared. very weird.
