I bought a Insignia 43" 1080p LED TV to use as my monitor and set it up for DCS. However, I am noticing that the resolution is not as smooth as with my last monitor which was a much smaller dedicated monitor (Spectre 27" or 28").

I am running a EVGA GTX 1080 GPU and I have the resolution in the in the game set to 1920 x 1080 (or something like that). Is it possible for me to regain the nice res I had with my older monitor and if so, how do I achieve it?

System Specs:

AMD 5950X (liquid-cooled), Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Pro Motherboard, 32 GB RAM DDR4 3200MHz, Samsung Evo 970 Plus 2 TB, Seagate 2TB SSD, Geforce RTX 4080 GPU, Rosewill Glacier 1000W Power Supply, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS (Stick, Throttle), Thrustmaster TPR Rudder Pedals, NaturalPoint TrackIR 5 w/ProClip, (1) Vizio 40" 4K Monitor, TPLink Dual Band Wireless Card, Window 11 OS

If the resolution is the same, the pixelsize on your 43" will be bigger and therefore might not look as crisp as your old 24" one (signature says 24").

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
