Long loading/login times DCS open beta

Hi

Despite a super fast PC, 32gig RAM and fast m2 drives, DCs takes ages to load in the login.

I heard that apparently it tries to connect to a google drive folder with saved credentials?!?

I have a fresh reinstall!!

Any ideas.

I have long load times, well longer than most of my other games, but DCS is a massive game that loads lots of assets so I don't see it as terribly bad. I've found once Windows caches the files into RAM it loads substantially faster. (But you have to have loaded the game once doing that reboot already.)

I just finished upgrading my rig and went from 4 Minute load times off a 4TB mechanical HDD to 20 seconds off an M.2.

I just finished upgrading my rig and went from 4 Minute load times off a 4TB mechanical HDD to 20 seconds off an M.2.

 

 

I had some 20 seconds as well before the last patch. Now approx 60-90 seconds!

if you are adding more modules to your inventory the load time will increase.
