Locking Left DDI?

Hi,

 

 

When I fly air to air I like to have my three DDIs as follows: Right - radar; bottom - Data Link (SA); Left: EW

 

 

When I switch weapons from sidewinders to sparrow or vice versa the left DDI goes from EW to weapons stores which is extremely annoying when you are in the thick of combat!

 

 

Is there a way to lock that left DDI so that it does not change when I change weapon type?

I guess no, you can't lock it.

 

However, there is an option on the EW page to repeat its information on the HUD.

Hmm thats weird, in my experience the left DDI stays in the EW page if i stay in air to air mode no matter what missile is selected. Only when I switch to A/G the Ddi changed pages.

We should have the ability to press SCS left and bring up the AzEl page which is a great help in a2a engagements

Unfortunately putting that info into the HUD can clutter it up quite badly in busy environments thus is only situationally useful.
