hannibal Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 you might have a defective CD if your copy is from evolved games.. i have that issue right now, and i am trying to get it resolved... Hello. I am trying to find information on acquiring a replacement CD for Lock On Gold published by Evolved games. On Evolved game's website list information for a limited recall on the lock on gold product. the bad CD2 LockOn-FC: EVL00004-1.2 0327379 03 (the one i have) the good CD2 LockOn-FC: EVL00004-1.2 0354856 09 I attempted to follow the instructions for the recall but was unsucessful. i just spoke to some one at the 888-856-2424 number... A representative handling the recall told me that there is no more replacement discs and evolved games did not give CMS (creative marketing solutions - recall program) any further instructions. the email "lockon@creativecms.com" comes back as a non-existant email. my last option was to email "info@evolvedgames.com" Also the number for evolved games' office at 800 East Broward Blvd. Suite 700 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 (954) 522-3900 is disconnected. Any information to help me obtain a working CD, i would appreciated it, i know you guys have nothing to do with the software defect. find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
TheBigDog Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 I'm actually having the same problems, I'm using the correct patch but it still will not activate. I sent an email to support but that was at least a week ago and I haven't heard anything back. Anyone have any suggestions?
G3 Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 if its the lockon gold usa version, it should never ask for a code etc. after it reboots your system the first time to install the starforce business. it should, if patched correctly, then ask for the second cd, and after checking it , then the game should start. the cd #2 is then required once a week or so. am i missing something, it sounds like a patching issue to me. are we talking vista or xp? more info the better. i can't recall for sure but if its a dodgey cd#2 does it even install FC ? hello, i just bought a original boxed copy of Lock on Gold from Usa seller. TheBigDog Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 It asking for a CD code is the defective cd2. My problem is that starforce will not authorize my disk 2. I am using Vista and properly patched to 1.12 (using the English boxed patch)
Tez Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Try manually updating StarForce drivers: http://www.star-force.com/support/drivers/ And also try deleting all .msg files in the LockOn folder. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] =653=Tez
