2 vertical lines after wave-off

So this problem occured today. I was on final on the carrier as the LSO says "wave-off", so i aborted the approach, and flew another patttern.

As i came to the call the ball position behind the carrier, on the thing that shows your altitude with the meatball in the middle, don't know how it's called, it has 2 vertical red lines, as if the wave off this is still valid.

 

 

I flew several approaches, and these red lines wouldn't dissapear.

 

 

Any tipp to solve this?

I got waved off several times doing approaches (which I still suck at) today. I all cases, all I did was fly 4 miles behind the carrier, Lincoln in my mission, and start over. I never did have to call inbound a second time.

 

I suspect that getting away from the carrier outside of an unknown specific distance will reset the IFLOLS (Improved Fresnel Lens Optical Landing System).

For now the proper procedure is to start again (with another inbound call).

Later they will add proper procedures and communications for bolters and wave-offs
