It would be nice to have the ability to spawn and despawn static objects, especially on carriers, from mission editor using triggers. This would allow mission editors to create busy scenery during takeoffs and landings but reduce overall system load once the airfield, carrier, or target zone is out of view.

Although Redkite did an awesome job, his method does require some scripting knowledge.

 

Would be great to just be able to do this without scripting, as the OP suggests
