After all I've read, this is still not clear to me:

- are all current LO:FC aircraft still in DCS-BS?

- can I put humancockpit=yes to take control over AI aircraft to make movie shots?

- if so, will it also be Su-27 cockpit?

- can I still switch between aircraft using Alt-J?

- can I run missions without flying an aircraft, so only AI?

Also, can tracks now have a function to be reversed. Kinda hard making a movie in Lock On, and past a particular scene you want to capture with fraps. And I don't want to restart the track just to view that scene.

Note, answers are not definitive!

Yes

- can I put humancockpit=yes to take control over AI aircraft to make movie shots?
No clear answer at this point. Right now, aircraft definitions do have a "humancockpit" line, but it doesn't appear to work in the game. Much of the data structure has and continues to change, so I'm not sure what it will look like at release.

- if so, will it also be Su-27 cockpit?
I would guess that if it works at all, it would be with a Ka-50 cockpit.

- can I still switch between aircraft using Alt-J?
Again - it isn't working in the current beta, but does appear to be intended for in the code, so I'm not sure what will happen.

- can I run missions without flying an aircraft, so only AI?
Yes

No, tracks cannot be "rewound."

P.S. Why not use the dedicated Q&A thread?
