I am not sure these two are related. I recently got combat and takeoff panels, and I am suffering with the sync issue intermittently. I opened a case with WW, but so far not really getting anywhere. I came to this thread to seek hints.

Yes they are....set the file back to default and no more issues

In my case it's the exact opposite. When these values are set to 0 (which, SimAppPro resets on every launch), I don't seem to be having a problem. Once they are non-zero, I do have disconnects.

Note, though -- I am not suffering from FPS hit as-is, just random disconnects between DCS and SimAppPro -- a different issue. So, I'll respectfully step aside to not hijack this thread :-).

Ok, I did a clean re-install of Simappro and made the change as laid out above with everything back in sync and I have to say a good lack of stuttering etc. FPS wasn't an issue for me as I have it locked at 60fps. Definitely an improvement, thanks @prestonflying

Oh and @markom, de-sync issues were occurring with and without the change.....just didn't do a long enough check missions

I just got the take off and combat panels and have intermittent problems too. I really hope the fix works because I’m planning on buying the ufc and ddi’s when they’re available but this is a problem.

What do you mean "intermittent problems"?

Sometimes my landing gear handle lights are operable and sometimes they aren’t. I’ve noticed a jerkiness in my screen at times too. I know my terminology is all wrong so please forgive me I’m basically an older functional computer illiterate.

the fix seems good. Thanks for the help

Still solving problems for people in November by removing this junk. Now I can give you actual numbers based on a fix I did for someone logging a bug in the ED Discord.

Before: Customer complains about over 30ms CPU frametime, DCS is terrible, ED don't care, 2.8 is bad, yadah yadah. Title of post: "VR unusable"
After removing exports: CPU frametime down to 14ms. Happy customer, ED, we are sorry for blaming you.
It's literally the difference between green and red frametimes. In VR this is about half of your FPS. HALF.

Trouble is, if people don't know what exports are doing and how they work, then people will just blame the sim again.

The only export I will put my trust in is Ciribobs SRS. As much as I love Tacview, it scales atrociously with large MP missions. Use servers where the Tacview acmi file can be downloaded afterward. As for other products, you choose, pretty lights or a working simulation.

After you comment out the lines in the export Lua, make it read only. That will keep simappro from writing to it again when you open the simappro program to do adjustments.

i am a newbe with computers , what does comment out and how do I do this??  I see the .lua

No need to anymore. I run the software now(use it for the rumble feature on the F16EX) and there is no noticeable difference in fps. At least with my setup...
