Question about the TM warthog adapter

My original gunfighter pro base (purchased in March 2017) but the dust today.

 

I just ordered the new MK III with the tomcat grip and long extension. My question is I hope my previously converted TM warthog grip will still be compatible with the new base. Anyone know if this is true?

The new base will use Rev B connector. What is the connector type of your Warthog adapter? For it to work with the new base the pin should be on the adapter side.

Hmm. I will have to check to see if that’s the case. I’m fearful it may be the older or original adapter. As I said I bought it in March 2017. I’ll look back at my order and see if it says revision B

Do you mean the three tiny pins that contact the three small plates/contacts at the base and extension connections?

If the three pins are sticking up from the base, that is the original MK I version - revision A.

Revision B changed those three pins to sticking down from the grip.

Thanks dburne. To be safe I ordered a new adapter. My base died...expensive fix ugh. Bright side is I’m now gonna have an F-14 stick

Most welcome. Last time I used my original MK 1 Gunfighter ( early Jan ) it was still going strong.
