Would like to change weather for take off from Supercarrier...is that possible????

Is there a mission already made for Supercarrier for F-18 or F14 where I can change the weather??? All I see are the few stock missions that came with the module, and I can't figure out how to get a mission where I can change the weather conditions. I want to take off in the rain!

 

 

 

Do I need to use the mission editor? How are people recording these amazing videos taking off in the rain????

 

 

Also- will Supercarrier eventually be "merged" so that combat missions or campaigns in F-18 will take place using it? I can't go back and take off from the old carrier, but I cant figure out how to run a combat mission from the Supercarrier module. Please help! I am new!

It's very easy to change in the mission editor.

Open the mission you want to play with, save it under a new name (such that you don't overwrite the original and potentially break things). Then with your "copy" of the mission, you'll find weather in one of the options. There are some very good videos online walking through how to do the basics in the ME, worth taking a look.

Once you've got the key aspects, whilst the ME is not always the most user friendly (e.g. no undo capability), its' very powerful in what you can create. I love fiddling with it.

Don't forget to set the wind and carrier course in such a way that planes takeoff and land into the wind.....
