The ability to create/save a true static template object in the mission editor

Within the first 60 seconds of that video he perfectly describes what we should have the ability to do. E.g. dropping a carrier on the map in the editor and putting static objects on it then saving that object to be placed just like the SAM templates. As it is now we have to select the drop down to tie the static objects to the ship anyway, which now that I think about it should auto happen when you click something onto the boat/an object with the ability to move. Of course I'm aware that it's more technical than this but why can't the whole object be saved as one thing at that point, I mean, the game knows what static objects are tied to the ship and exactly where on the ship they are anchored?
