truebrit Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 I'll be flying level using barometric altitude hold and suddenly the jet will go nose down very sharply. I first noticed it always at the end of a mission I made, while cruising home after. Today it did it in a campaign I downloaded from the user files, at the start of the mission. Maybe some weird glitch with user missions? It's never happened on any official missions, but I've made loads of missions and it's only that one that does it at the end, and that campaign today. I am using beta, is that it maybe? randomTOTEN Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Can you reproduce it? Upload a very short track showing it?
Smudooo Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Did you check your Axis-Bindings of all connected controllers? DCS assigns axis to every new controller by itself... i had some issues with that :)
Stubbies2003 Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Smudoo is probably on this one. Sounds like you have an erroneous pitch input from another device. That is standard AP behavior for it getting kicked out of AP by a large-ish control input. I use BALT AP a fair amount and don't see this issue.
truebrit Posted July 14, 2021 Author Posted July 14, 2021 I know this is an old thread of mine, but I can reproduce it now. It only does it when I am around or above 25,000 ft.
