104th Dedicated: Operation Blue Tide!

Operation: Blue Tide

 

Blue forces successfully destroyed the Nuclear facilities before they could go on line thanks to the heroic efforts of two fine pilots, Randy "rmstone" Stone and Simon "Puff Fatty" Welter. Both sides suffered major casualties but Blue forces were able to regain and retain control of their bases and pushed further yet into formerly enemy controlled territories along the coastal area east and in the north.

Their offensive was intensified by their proficient use of the captive SU-27 AC, the feared multi-role jet now in the hands of Blue Force has had a decisive effect on the battle.

 

Red is down but not out! They have no choice now but to release their most feared arsenal of all - The Red Elite Armored division. This top secret division of armored units, and the personnel who man them, are said to be among the most devastating in the world. Plausible deniability keeps them and their exact location known only by the very highest level of the Red leadership (it is rumored that they have been dispatched to take out key military airbase targets). Limited Intel indicates that they are traveling along an undisclosed route on there way to MajKop airbase.

 

The fierce battles leading up to this point have seen many of the finest pilots "ass in seat" from the very best squadrons including the 44th, 504th, 159th, 3SQN, S77th, JaBoG32, 169th, =RVE=, =TUAF=, SVK, =RAF= ,=4c-, 9thAf, and so many more it is impossible to mention them all. Outstanding pilots to the last man!

 

In a last ditch effort for survival and domination, both sides are preparing for the final battle of the war. Red hopes to regain all that has been lost and Blue will try to push Red into the sea.

Just something I noticed... (not just your server, but other servers too)

From what I've noticed, the Su-27 and the F-15C are the most popular fighters in lockon 9for a good reason), and both these fighters are only on the blue side. Everytime I log on to your server, (which is quite often, as its my favorite) I discover some serious team stacking (favoring blue of course). I, trying to be as fair as possible, usually join red to try to balance out the teams. Of course, to do this, I must sacrifice my beloved flanker and chose the MiG-29S (which isn't horrible, as it has Active R-77s, but the Eagles also have actives)

 

I know making the teams like this helps the F-15 pilots with IFF, but at the same time results in team stacking and limiting pilots to certain aircraft.

 

Maybe you could Put the Su-27 and F-15 on different sides or just put both on both sides.

 

It's just a suggestion. I will still play on your server if nothing is done. it's a wonderful server, everyone on TS is very nice. Very enjoyable. Keep it up. :thumbup:

Thank you for the suggestions and the kind words mate.

We will take your advice on one of our next missions and put the 15 and 27 on both or different sides. Our first map had them on different sides. We added the whole "captured SU-27" thing on the second and third missions for variety.
