reported Communicate with AI Wingman-4

I happened to notice while testing something in a user made tomcat mission that while easy comms was set to 'on', wingman 4 was there as normal, but with easy comms 'off', wingman 4 is nowhere to be found. Wondering if you guys have different comms settings?

I have had easy communication disabled for a long time because it caused me problems when using radio commands. The radio type switch changed by itself.

Well, the only difference I see is that we are using different languages. So that might be the reason we having different radio menus.

That would be weird, translation shouldn't affect the content. That's what I think, but I could be wrong.

 

edit:

As I suspected, changing the language has no effect on the radio menu. I even managed to enable my Polish translation. It may not be perfect, but everything works fine here too.

Well, this is strange. I didn't changed any game settings. I have no mods installed. And I'm pretty much sure that two versions ago everything was fine. I'll check the easycomms later today if I'll have a time. But there is not a chance I'll reinstall the game because of this bug. I prefer to wait till next update in hope it will fix itself somehow.

Do you have this error only on the Mi-24, or also on other helicopters and planes?

I'm not sure I'd count on that without at least the issue being acknowledged. I've had Wingman 4 missing for literal years. It is not aircraft or mission specific. As I mentioned 5 years ago, I haven't checked every possible combination, but in general the bug is that there is no way to issue commands to Wingman 4.

 

 

 

Finally found a wing 4 command in the L-39

 

 

 

Then there is the secondary issue of "Second Element" only being available on a few planes, like the A-10C

There's an old internal report about the missing Wingman 4. I'll bump it.

I have checked the Ka-50 Black shark 3 today. And the wingman 4 is here. So the only aircraft for me which is having no wingman 4 radio menu for me so far, is Mi-24P.

Anyway, I have found a new bug in Ka-50 Black shark 3. It doesn't have mirrors after the latest update. I have reported it here, so you can see how it looks like if you are interested.
