It`s not Avro Lancaster or Manchester or Mosquito.

And about your question - of the 3 planes you`ve given just the last one is real, of the others not a single prototype has been built. So the last one is Hawker-Hillson F.40 a.k.a FH.40. The upper wing they added - not a good idea :( , the programme was terminated due to poor performance. The first one is some fictional prototype based on the Lancaster. The second one also is probably some project based on De Haviland DH9 Mosquito - again not a single one built AFAIK (I know the picture looks real but it`s Photoshop). Satisfied? :D

It was a little bit unfair to ask about projects existent only on paper ;)

Now the first clue for my question - the development of the aircraft started in the second half of the 1940s and it made its first flight in the first half of the 1950s.

No, I`m real so is the question. Come on guys, really last clue - it`s an european trainer aircraft  I`ll be amazed if you can`t guess it with so many hints.

RR engines we already knew that :smilewink: it's very likely a british plane

A lot of non european countries are making trainer aircraft and do not manufacture their own engines but use ones from the biggest companies producers of engines (RR, GE, P&W, etc.). So it`s still a clue. But as things are going I might give you even more hints. I`m not going to win with this question.

you're right but you said it was developed in the 30s and made it's first flight in the 40s , i don't see myself european countries using british engines while being occupied

Are you sure that`s what I said? Check out again - i said development in the second half of the 40s and first flight in the first half of the 50s.

It looks very like a Saab 105?

This aircraft has already been asked in a question in this thread. Jesus, if you don`t guess it now i`m going out on the street and I`m shooting myself in the head

Edit: Of this aircraft almost 2 dozens have been produced.
