I've been in some close combat, used the vertical line radar to lock target in front. Fired a MAG then switched to guns but never used it. Ready to disengage air to air mode and see info about my way points to navigate home.

I've tried:

Weapon Sys Cmd Depress - Appears to cancel close combat radar mode.

CNM Neutral - Switches to 530, but I want it to switch off AA weapons.

Click 530 button - Turns off 530, but no waypoints. CNM Neutral switches back to 530.

I can switch to APP and see ILS, but waypoints still don't show number, so I'm still not in correct mode.

What am I missing?

maybe disable everything on the PCA

I tried clicking all PCA to make it blank or change modes. No luck.

I'm just trying to get the navigation mode back where I can see waypoint number and distance on the HUD.

Here's a screenshot. I can repro in Instant Action.

I can see the waypoint marker, but no way point number and distance on right side of HUD.

If I press Weapon Cmd Depressed the 530 will select.

Radar is back to TWS in this shot.

Testing again.

I was able to get it back with:

1) CNM Neutral - Selects 530 (note no AG weapons present)

2) 530 on PCA - Unselects 530, PCA all clear

3) Weapon Cmd Depressed - Unlocks radar

I'll have to try that in future. I was trying lots of 1) and 3) but not in that order.

Hi, yes there is a bug after using AA gun or MAG.

The HUD partially stay in combat mode (see G and AoA still displayed).

You can get rid of it by cycling AG gun (select, go into attack mode, exit and unselect in PCA).
