Frag Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Hi guys, simple question here for the Warthog pro around here. On the warthog HOTAS, there is a ENG L toggle switch on the top right corner. I would want to send the "MASTER ARM ON" command when it is flipped up. I was able to do that from the DCS control setup without any problem. Now if I want to send the "MASTER ARM OFF" command when it is flipped down, I noticed in the setup that no signal is sent from the switch when I flip it down. Which is odd. I read the sticky about toggle switches, but could not figure out how to apply it to this switch. I am probably missing something. Briefly, I want to set the "Master ARM on/off" on the ENG L switch. Any way to do this? Thanks

You will have to edit your input lua files and make special binds. Ant0ine Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Instead of learning lua, I would rather use Vjoy+Joystick Gremlin (Your JG experience will follow you in many sim unlike lua). Here is an exemple : https://imgur.com/a/T7y4gwx (album)
Supmua Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 (edited) TM throttle’s 2-way switches are ON-OFF, as opposed to a throttle such as Winwing which are ON-ON. The OFF position is usually not recognized by Windows by default. You can either edit the default.lua or use external app (Target, Joystick Gremlin, RS_mapper, etc.) to make the OFF state trigger an input command. I second the vjoy/Joystick gremlin option, it might be a pain to learn at first but it is universal and will work with everything beyond DCS. With vjoy I can even make TrackIR or any of my peripherals work with games that don’t support it. Edited July 23, 2020 by Supmua PC: 5800X3D/4090, 11700K/3090, 9900K/2080Ti.
