Xilon_x Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 with the new patch 2.5.6.52437 I found problems on the plane on 25T, the trim controls do not work on both hotas and keyboard. if I fly with av-8 harrier instead the trim controls work correctly. how can I solve this problem?
Flappie Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Hi Xilon-x, 1/ Can you please ensure you don't have any red lines in your Su-25T trim bindings? (here are mine, no red lines) 2/ Please check that your trim buttons are not bound in either "UI layer", "General" nor "NS430" category. If they are bound in one of these, just clear the bindings and you should be OK. 3/ If you still have the issue at this point, please share your C:\Users\your_name\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input folder as a zip file. ---
Xilon_x Posted July 26, 2020 Author Posted July 26, 2020 no i don't see any associated red line. this is my file rar su-25T.rar
Flappie Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I see you have trim bindings for two different peripherals. Do you still use these two peripherals at the same time? "PC flight simulator" (what is it?) ["dnilp93u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_L", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Left Wing Down", }, ["dnilp94u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_R", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Right Wing Down", }, ["dnilp95u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_D", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Nose Up", }, ["dnilp96u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_U", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Nose Down", }, ["dnilp98u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_L", ["reformers"] = { [1] = "JOY_BTN12", }, }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Rudder Left", }, ["dnilp99u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_R", ["reformers"] = { [1] = "JOY_BTN12", }, }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Rudder Right", }, }, SideWinder Precision 2 ["dnilp93u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_L", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Left Wing Down", }, ["dnilp94u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_R", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Right Wing Down", }, ["dnilp95u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_D", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Nose Up", }, ["dnilp96u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN_POV1_U", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Nose Down", }, ["dnilp98u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN3", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Rudder Left", }, ["dnilp99u215cdnilvdnilvpnilvunil"] = { ["added"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "JOY_BTN4", }, }, ["name"] = "Trim: Rudder Right", }, }, ---
Xilon_x Posted July 26, 2020 Author Posted July 26, 2020 you used my old sidewinner now I use a PXN-2113.
Flappie Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Well, I don't see any error in your Su-25T Pc Flight Simulator {7C6B1A70-B2DA-11ea-8001-444553540000}.diff.lua file. And the buttons you're using to trim are not declared as modifiers, at least not in the local Su-25T modifiers.lua file. Just in case, could you please check your global C:\Users\Flav\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\modifiers.lua file and see if your china hat buttons are declared as modifers? I highly doubt they are declared as modifiers, because you said they work fine with the AV-8B... Also, could you please attach your dcs.log file? ---
Xilon_x Posted July 29, 2020 Author Posted July 29, 2020 dcs.log this is my file log the real problem is not the joystik but if I use the keys the trim doesn't work. in addition I want to warn you that I do not use OB but the stable version.
Xilon_x Posted July 29, 2020 Author Posted July 29, 2020 and this is the modfire.lua of the over 25 t modifiers.lua
Flappie Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Thank you. I don't see any error in your log file. And I don't see any logical explanation for your issue. Can you please try this? 1/ Rename your C:\Users\your_name\Saved Games\DCS folder as "DCS_backup" (please, do not delete it). 2/ Launch DCS. 3/ Try the keyboard default Su-25T trim keys. Do they work? ---
Xilon_x Posted July 30, 2020 Author Posted July 30, 2020 I tried to do as you wrote to me and it doesn't work. I reviewed my bug well and I explain in more detail what happens to me. the trim - up keys is LCTRL +. ok I set it on my hotas I tried it both on keyboard and on hotas and they don't work but if I look at the cockpit there are the trim lights that go off when you use them and they work. the lights work and the trim doesn't work.
randomTOTEN Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 If the lights are going on and off then the trim is working. I would suggest running a repair of DCS just to make sure, but if everything's working a light going off after you activate the trim means that trim is working.
Flappie Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Here's the official procedure for Cleanup and repair: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/709/ You might want to test the renaming of your Saved Games\DCS first though, because it's way quicker (and because it won't break your mods if you have some). ---
Xilon_x Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 ok I solved the problem by uninstalling the drivers of my joystic and the vindows has now inserted the generic joystik drivers. now the trimm commands of the su-25-t respond to the problem and that I have deleted the data of the old joystic configuration. I have to deduce then that the latest DCS update does not recognize the DRIVERS of my PXN 2113. PXN DRIVER LINK http://www.e-pxn.com/products/arcade-stick/pxn-2113
Flappie Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Hi Xilon_X. I'm glad you were able to sort it out. Thank you for bringing the solution to other players. :) I would have ever suspected a driver issue since you said you could trim the AV-8B using the same buttons. ---
