Hi Guys,

I have a problem with INS, when I do a cold start I don't see the map on HSI, also when I switch the INS switch to GND, it warms up, starts counting from 99 to 0 and writes OK, but when I switch to NAV waypoint it stays frozen. The initial distance to WP1,WP2,WP3... is shown and that's it. I don't have this problem only on the aircraft carrier, when everything works normally, on all other maps; Nevada, Persian Gulf and Caucasus airports do not work.

Please for help and suggestion for resolving problem.

Thanks,

The whole INS system is WIP at this point. In that particular case, the quality counts down too fast to 0.5 OK. Leave the knob to GND/CVN until you actually have the waypoints, the map shows and you are placed correctly on the moving map.

Failing that (or if you're in a situation without GPS, such as a Red coalition country - irrelevant if you have the Unrestricted SATNAV selected in Options), you have to perform a TACAN or DSG fix.

can not reproduce here all is normal

I deleted the folders located in X:\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\

FA-18C,

NS430,

NS430_C-101CC,

NS430_C-101EB,

NS430_L-39C and NS430_Mi-8MT.

I put it to repair the DCS and everything went back to work.

I believe that the update process must have corrupted something when installing.

Thank You!

Hi guys,

thanks for support, I was wrong, I didn't know that the Red Coalition doesn't have a GPS :), when I checked SATNAV, it works properly, it confused me that the F-16 INS works normally regardless of whether you are a red or a blue coalition. I also noticed on the F / A 18 module that there are bugs around the lights, the shadows are sometimes bad, the wigman when his navigation lights are on, he literally shines. In my opinion, the night is also badly done.

I am not a frequent guest here and I would very much like to give suggestions.

I also use DCS 2.5.6.52437 Open Beta.
