Taz1004 Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 After I asked this question in Rookie thread, I did some more testing and concluded this has to be a bug. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I tested these in Instant Action Shooting Range and I did select correct target type when saving and sending the targets. There are the 4 commands in question. F1. Engage Datalink Target F2. Engage Datalink Targets F3. Engage Datalink Target by Type F4. Engage Datalink Targets by Type Expected behavior F1. Engage single specific datalink target I sent him F2. If I sent him multiple datalink targets, he should only engage the ones I sent him. F3. Engage single specific datalink target by its type? I don't know how this is different than F1 but that's what it sounds like. F4. If I sent him single target for example a tank, he should only engage all tank targets. Tested behavior F1. I sent him single T-55 and gave this order. And he engaged half of targets randomly between T-55, BMP's, and Strela. F2. I sent him one Strela and one truck and gave this order. And he engaged all armors (T-55's and BMP's) only. F3. I sent him single T-55 and gave this order. He engaged all T-55's only. Not just the one I sent him but all of them. F4. I sent him single T-55 and gave this order. He engaged all armors (T-55's and BMP's) only. It seems to me F3 and F4 does somewhat of what it says altho I believe F3 should be F4. Or the command should be more clear that F3 is exact model and F4 is general type. And I have no idea what F1 and F2 does and if it's a bug.
