bies Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Right now to restrict some weapons on a server administrator has to use external script when you need to manually read which type of weapon is available and self restrict and if you don't you are exploding after takeoff... It's obviously some big walk-around. There are many new folks trying MP, not knowing this rules, simply taking weapon which is restricted - and exploding mid air not knowing why. The ability to restrict weapon in game, not using some external, non newbie friendly, walk around script, would be very beneficial. And it seems like something very easy to code. Cheers
Kang Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 You could just not include the weapons in question in the mission you are building. Remove them from the airbase warehouses and you're done.
71st_AH Rob Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 There is no need to use a script to restrict weapons as Kang says you can just remove those you do not wish used from the warehouse at the airfield. It would be however very convenient if they could be restricted as an option with the Historical switch in the ME, it would save some significant time.
