Hi,

In my lua code I would like to get the Freq (and other settings) of the Mi-8's 863 Radio so that I can make sure it is on a particular Frequency. Also, I would really like to know how to do it with other Radios and in different vehicle types.:book:

Based on the number of reads of this post , it seems a few of us would like to find out how to do this , so I will try to update this post with anything I can find out on the matter. It seems Grimes has recently answered a post similar to this one and there is some good info there. So I will dig that up again and put a link to it here as well. And if I do get anything of the sort going I will put the relevant & hopefully working lua code here in this Thread.

Still haven't found any resources on the subject ... still lookin'

Hi,

I dont know how to do this in Lua code, but on common triggers I make use of these trigger conditions:

X:COCKPIT PARAM IN RANGE

X:COCKPIT PARAM EQUAL TO

X:COCKPIT PARAM IS EQUAL TO ANOTHER

On the Mi-8 the parameters you can use are:

ADF_FREQ
ADF_FREQ_2
HF_AM_FREQ
VHF_AM_FREQ
UHF_FREQ

typical values for these parameters are:

2.000000

127.500000

21.500000

best regards
