dorianR666 Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 another ugly bug. attached pic: mig-29 that flies perfectly fine with shut down engines. the external view infobar shows 0% RPM and the plane doesnt make any engine sounds, so it checks out. attached track: i switch across multiple units external view, until i switch to mig-29 which shows the problem. possible issues: this mission was generated by the liberation dynamic campaign. liberation requires removing mission scripting sanitization so the mission can write results into an external file. not sure if this causes any issue when viewing the track by other installations. dorianR666 Posted August 25, 2020 Author Posted August 25, 2020 (edited) ive been analyzing the mission more and i found something it might be related to this. look at the attached picture and see how the list shows AJS37 yet everything else is MiG-29S. turns out Syria doesnt have MiG-29S in its list. so it appears to be Liberation bug which generates missions with planes for countries that dont have them. regardless, DCS should handle this in a better way than UFO planes that fly without engines. perhaps throw an error or something. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted August 25, 2020 ED Team Posted August 25, 2020 Hi, I think it is a scripting issue, I am unable to reproduce with a mig-29s on my own mission. Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
