JCook Posted August 30, 2020 Share Posted August 30, 2020 Most USB device instructions indicate whether to have the USB device (joystick, throttle, etc) connected when running the installation program. Some want it connected before running install - some don't. I haven't found any mention of this in the Virpil instructions for installing the MongoosT-50CM base... I have a TM WartHog joystick connected to the base. Has anyone seen a mention of pre-connect or post-connect for the Mongoos when installing the software? What are you worried about? Just install the software, plug in your device and then run the software, select your device from the list and you are good to go! Let me repeat, it makes no difference whatsoever if you have the base plugged in or not when you install the software! I have the same set up as you and can say that I've done it both ways, and it really doesn't make any difference as imacken says. Not sure what answer you're looking for though.
