Hi,

It's been a while since I've played with the game and I've forgotten something. I know I did this when I first set up my joystick for the original P-51D. Where and how do I go about finding the page/screen where I can set up my joystick (sensitivity, dead zones, ect.) Thanks.

Hi Flappie,

Thanks for the reminder. I followed your instructions and viola! That's what I get for being away so long. Might I also ask you a couple of other quickies? Do you have any joystick settings for the P-47D, P-51D and Spit IX that would replicate the actual stick and rudder pedal forces found in the real aircraft? If so is there a way to save them so I can select them when I select the aircraft so I don't have to manually change them each time I fly a different aircraft? I'm also thinking of getting the I-16 and the Channel map. Do you know how much these run? I can't seem to find this infoprmation on the site anywhere and I don't want to click buy just to find out. I also thought I remembered a map for the Marshall Islands coming out for DCS World but I don't see it for sale. Perhaps I am thinking about another platform? Anyway, thanks for the quick reply.

Hi NavyAce,

Keybindings are tied to an aircraft, so you don't have to change them each time you select a different aircraft.

Click in the picture below, and see the element number 3: click on this element and you should see all your modules. Select "P-47D" to bind keys for this aircraft. It's as simple as that. :) Don't forget to click OK once you're done with an aircraft, otherwise your modifications won't be saved.

I'm afraid I can't tell you how good the I-16 and Channel modules are, because I don't own any WWII modules. But I can tell you what I've heard: both were well received. Here are their official subforums: I-16 / Channel map

Thanks Flappie. A quick clarification. You mention key bindings. Does this saving process also apply to joystick and throttle axis selection? And I would assume that each time I tweak the sensitivity and dead zone areas/curves I would have to clikc OK to save the changes. Thanks for the info on the other mods.

Actually, as long as you don't quit using the "Cancel" button at the bottom left of the screen, you won't lose anything (keybindings, axis tweaks...). But just remember to hit "OK" when you leave.

To avoid any mishap, I hit "OK" quite often. ;)
