[NEED TRACK REPLAY]Automatic Altimeter Setting for Hot Start

Recommended Posts

Hi,

If I choose a mission and set the jet to start from ramp hot pit. The altimeter is always set to 29.92 and not automatically set to what the pressure setting actually is in the mission.

I tried with the F16 just to see and the F16 automatically sets the actual pressure setting and not the standard 29.92.

Hi

I just checked both and they both spawned with 2992 for me.

Can you attach a track replay showing whet you are seeing.

thanks

For "cold start" yes both spawn 29.92. For "takeoff from parking hot" no. In the latter case F-16 is set QNH to match mission and F-18 is not. This is also true from "takeoff from runway" and "turning point". F/A-18 is starting with 29.92 for every possible start condition regardless of QNH.
