Set Up Page Size On Start Up

I have noticed that at times when my DCS World 2.5.6 loads up and the set up page appears it is only 2/3 full screen size. I can see my desk top wallpaper behind the right hand edge. Why does this occur? I have found that if I click on the upper edge the screen will jump to full size but the cockpit seems a bit stretched instead of just normal size enlarged. This works for the current session but sometimes upon returning to the game, but not always, it does the same thing. Is there a way to set things up so the setup screen always appears full size? Thank you.

You mean the options menu in DCS? Do you have Fullscreen enabled? Also set aspect setting manually if the resolution is right but the cockpit looks wrong. Screenshots will help.
