The USMC F/A-18C+ has been announced for over 3 years, they already have a few converted.

They are getting the E/F Block I Cockpits similar to some of the newer Legacy Hornet Export Blocks.

I thought the C+ units that were converted had large single-touchscreen panels like the F-35 display?

No, those are the Block III Super Hornets

Nope, i'm very specifically saw that about 20 or 30 old Hornet C's got refurbished, and at least one got Block III or F-35 style dash, for training aviators to new cockpit, to help transition to F-35's later.

I know a few months ago I saw this, with the full display dash like a Lighting... can't find the video of it anymore. Maybe they only made one with that display? I dunno. But I know what they were saying, C hornets with totally new full dash color display, just like a Block 3 Superbug. Maybe the Marines didn't want that option due to cost?
