HP Reverb. Which one is better? 60FPS @ 60hz or 45FPS @ 90hz?

Just wondering what people choose. For those who have machines capable of producing 60fps in DCS with the HP Reverb, do you use 60fps, or prefer to use 45fps to get the 90hz refresh rate?

I noticed when I switched my VR from 90 to 60hz I could notice flickering. As a result, 45fps seemed nicer on the eyes than 60 - but I'm not sure if that's me missing something and was just wondering what people choose for those that have a choice between these two settings?

That was pretty much my experience as well. Couldn't deal with the flickering, so I went right back to 45/90.

Same. I run at 45 FPS now with motion reprojection to 90.

Turns out I can run my Reverb 150% SS, 2x MSAA and max shadows, terrain etc if I learn to live with 45 FPS + reprojection so yea.

Hmm - seems to be the same then. Best to stick with 90hz @ 45fps.

I'll have to have another tinker with reprojection setting because I have a 2080 and I'm not able to set 150% SS with 2xMSAA and Max Shaddows / terrain / etc and maintain 45fps. What black magic are you running to do that?

Low vis distance and only one aircraft WAY up north at 12:00 so no shadows to render anyway???

@Adam. I don't know mate but it seems I am somehow the outlier here. I thought it was the VR shader mod that was making all the difference but apparently everyone else uses it too.

Most of my settings are from this guide: https://www.gamersbynight.com/dcs-settings-vr/ FYI, turning off those windows setting in that guide also made a big difference.

BTW, I do go below 45 FPS on the supercarrier but once in the air, its fine. I also turn off terrain shadows and just go max shadows in the cockpit instead.

My conclusion is that its vert hard to get 90 FPS but very easy to get 45 FPS in DCS.
